Cafe de Mongdol

Cafes With a View

Cafe de Mongdol was quite different than the previous two cafes. In fact, theme was more down to earth– homey even. And while all three have uninterrupted views of the ocean. Cafe de Mongdol is the only one you could walk up to the ocean’s edge and touch the cool water. Which is why this cafe jumped over some of the other cafes that had amazing theatrical value inside, lacked Mother Nature’s directorial skills outside.Cafe de Mongdol set itself apart from the previous two cafes with a theme that was more grounded–almost homey.

Despite all three cafes have panoramic unobstructed ocean views, Cafe de Mongdol was the only cafe that allowed me to stroll right up to the ocean’s edge and feel the cool, salty of water. This singular aspect gave the cafe a considerable edge over others we had visited. Even though some boasted epic interiors, they couldn’t compete with Mother Nature’s unparalleled scenic direction outside.

Cafe de Mongdol serves brunch items. However, neither one of us was hungry. So we just grabbed a snack. Then we sat and listened to the waves gently lapping the shore from our open window. Or to the wave of young people stopping in just long enough to snap a few pictures for the gram.

In Conclusion, all three cafes are worth visiting if you come to Yeosu. Which one is your favorite? Let me know in the comments below.
